NextLand welcomes three new stakeholders

The NextLand team is pleased to announce that Metsäkeskus (Finnish Forest Centre), Forest Design (Romanian forestry service provider) and Junta de Castilla y León (DG Natural Resources and Forest Policy) have recently joined the team to support the co-design and development process of the NextLand services and EO platform.

Together with SoilEssentials, Soil Service of Belgium, S&T, CERTH and EFI, they will support the NextLand service providers by defining product, service and platform requirements and by providing feedback on the developments. These ‘alpha’ users will help us throughout the project to adapt and customize our services to the end users’ needs.
In 2020 we also organized a series of co-design webinars and workshop to collect user feedback, define user requirement and define a set of practical cases.

The NextLand service providers are currently focusing on generating and evaluating the first test products, and developing the online platform in order to release a beta version of the of the single, user-friendly NextLand platform by June 2021.
